Kharvana (Persian: خاروانا; also Romanized as Kharvāna; also known as, Kharvanaq,[1] is a city in and the capital of Kharvana District, in Varzaqan County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,642, in 415 families.[2]
