Kenneth Alexander Mitchell (born 25 November 1974) is a Canadian actor.

Early life

Mitchell was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He attended the University of Guelph where he studied landscape architecture and played for the school soccer team as a striker. He attended and worked at Kilcoo Camp in Minden, Ontario, where he claims to have discovered his love for acting, as well as a passion for the art of interpretive dance.

Career

In 2004 Mitchell was cast in the film Miracle with Kurt Russell, in the role of hockey player Ralph Cox who was the last player cut from the 1980 Mens Olympic Hockey Team.[1]

Mitchell appeared as Eric Green in the U.S. television drama Jericho, which was cancelled by CBS in May 2007 but was brought back onto the 2007–08 schedule following a fan campaign to save the show.[2]

He has appeared in single episodes of Flashpoint, CSI: Miami, Detroit 187, Grey's Anatomy, The Unit, and Law & Order: LA.

In 2014, Mitchell was cast in ABC's Astronaut Wives Club television drama series, playing the role of Deke Slayton.[3]

He stars in the television advertisements for the Samsung Galaxy S4.

Personal life

In May 2006, Mitchell married actress Susan May Pratt. They have two children, a daughter (born 2007) and a son (born 2012).[4]
