Kelli Maroney is an American film and television actress. Maroney is best known for her early roles in the movies Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Night of the Comet and on television on the television soap operas Ryan's Hope and One Life to Live.

Career

Maroney's Daytime TV stints were as Kimberly Harris Beaulac on the soap opera Ryan's Hope (1979-1981, 1982-1983) and Tina Lord on One Life to Live (1984-1985).

Her best known film roles were comedy Fast Times at Ridgemont High 1982, as Cindy Carr, "Spirit Bunny", the 1984 science fiction movie Night of the Comet as Samantha Belmont; as well as cult films The Zero Boys (1985) as Jamie, and Chopping Mall (1986) as Alison.

Showtime film Face Down playing a schizophrenic femme-fatale opposite Joe Mantegna, and TV Envangelist on HBO's True Blood.

Appearances

Kelli Maroney appeared as a guest on the "Playboy TV" 2015"So Hot It's Scary" Halloween episode with Jeffrey Reddick and Lisa Wilcox.

Maroney was featured on the cover of People (alongside fellow soap opera actresses Genie Francis and Kristen Vigard) and interviewed in the related story about the "teen temptresses" of daytime television.[1]

An interview with Maroney was featured in Jewel Shepard's Invasion of the B-Girls, a non-fiction book composed of interviews with popular scream queens.[2] She also appeared on the Joan Rivers Show Scream Queen episode in the 1990s. Kelli Maroney has made guest appearances on TV shows, among them "True Blood, Family Feud, Simon & Simon, Murder, She Wrote, FBI: The Untold Stories, and Chicago Hope.

Maroney is co-host of entertainment podcast Rick's Martini Bar.
