Kamsarakan

Kamsarakan (Armenian: Կամսարական) was an Armenian noble family that was an offshoot of the Karen-Pahlav Clan, one of the seven great houses of Parthia of Arsacid origin.

Most of their lands were acquired by the Bagratuni during the last quarter of the eighth century.

Perhaps the most famous of the Kamsarakan family was Narses, who served as a eunuch and general under Justinian I (r. 527–565) of the Byzantine Empire.
