The station provides local news that covers the Tri-State area of northeastern Iowa, southeastern Minnesota and southwestern Wisconsin. KDEC-FM 100.5 is also the Home for the Iowa Hawkeyes, broadcasting Iowa Hawkeye football and basketball. Original call letters were KRDI.
