Judith Ralston

Judith Ralston originally from Edinburgh, trained as a musician and studied singing at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, the Royal Northern College of Music. Her operatic singing career ended prematurely when her voice collapsed.

In 1999 Ralston returned to Scotland for a new career as a travel reporter at BBC Scotland, then moved into weather presenting. Ralston has presented programmes/features in the classical music field and other BBC radio/television shows. She is now one of the main weather presenters at BBC Scotland and involved with charity work in the Glasgow area.
