Juan Benito Ostoic Ostoic (born Rosario de Huara, 21 March 1931) is a Chilean basketball player and coach.

Career

He played for the club team of Chung Hwa, belonging to the Chinese colony of Iquique. In 1958 he was chosen as the best center in the country, together with Ricardo Miranda.[1]

He played for the Chilean international team and participated in the Chilean team that finished third in the FIBA Basketball World Cup in Buenos Aires 1950.[2] He also participated in the Helsinki 1952 and Melbourne 1956.[3]

He coached the Spanish Union team that was Santiago Basketball Association champion in 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1973.[4]
