Jonibek Murodov was born on May 29, 1986 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. He is the son of the National Singer of the USSR Jurabek Murodov (Народный Артист СССР - Джурабек Муродов).

In 2003 Jonibek Murodov graduated from SONMIN school in Khujand city, Tajikistan.

After graduating the school, Jonibek Murodov pursued his higher education in Arabic in the Modern Humanitarian Academy in Khujand city.

His music career started in 1998 with a group called "BOLO" and he stayed with the group until 2005. He then has organized another band called Group "Vazir" in 2006. A year later, he has begun his solo career.

He was the winner of "Surudi Sol" (Song of the Year) Award for the years 2005, 2006 and 2007. He won the "Sitorai Sol" (Star of the Year) in 2008.

His first solo album was "Shukri Khudo" and his second album was "Allah-u" featuring Shabnam Surayo.

His third album was "Ay dil, ay dil".

Jonibek Murodov gave concerts all around the world and he has been on a world tour since 2007.
