John Ryan is an American singer, songwriter and record producer.[1][2] He is best known for being featured in Pitbull's 2014 hit "Fireball" which he also co-wrote.[3] In November 2013, he signed a publishing contract with Big Deal Music and BMG Chrysalis.[4]

Career

Ryan was born and raised in Pittsford, New York. He attended McQuaid Jesuit High School, a Catholic college-preparatory school in Rochester NY. Following his 2006 graduation, John enrolled at Berklee College of Music in Boston.[2] While attending Berklee, John was a student of Professor of Guitar, Lauren Passarelli. After making several connections with his colleagues, all of whom were from Los Angeles, John soon found his demos being submitted and praised by a studio there, Family Affair Productions, especially the Team Manager and Talent Coordinator Damon Bunetta. With this in mind and a vision to set upon, John moved to L.A. one week after graduating from Berkeley in 2010, and joined the team. In 2012, John teamed up with a co-worker whom worked with Sony Music Entertainment and the hit television show X-Factor, where he was introduced to bands and artists such as One Direction, Pharrell Williams, Pitbull, and Sam Smith.

Sedovy has released his own music, he has recorded some albums known as The Mayor of Strawberry Fields, Organs vs. Furniture and an album called Progressive relaxation.

He has written several songs for British boyband One Direction, including "Best Song Ever", "Story of My Life", and "Steal My Girl" among others. Additionally he has written for Jason Derulo, Cody Simpson, JLS, Fifth Harmony, Emblem3, Nick Jonas, and Olly Murs.
