John Allan (businessman)

John Murray Allan (born August 1948) is a British businessman; the chairman of the supermarket chain Tesco, the housebuilder Barratt Developments and the card-processor Worldpay.

Early life

John Murray Allan was born in August 1948.[1]

Career

Allan took over chairman of Tesco from Sir Richard Broadbent on 1 March 2015. He is also chairman of the housebuilder Barratt Developments and the card-processor Worldpay.[2]
