Jeonnam Dragons in Asian football

Jeonnam Dragons is a South Korean professional football club based in Gwangyang, South Korea, who currently play in the K League Classic. Jeonnam Dragons' first participation in Asian competition was during the 1998 season, when they competed in the Asian Cup Winners' Cup, their first match was against Police SC of Sri Lanka, but Police SC withdrew. Chunnam Dragons' actual first match was Beijing Guoan of China.

Jeonnam Dragons haven't won the Asia Champions League not yet, Jeonnam's best performance is runner-up of Asian Cup Winners Cup in 1999. Their most recent participation in the competition was in 2008.
