Akaltara, Janjgir-Champa, Sakti, Chandrapur, Jaijaipur and Pamgarh together cover the Janjgir-Champa district. Bilaigarh and Kasdol assembly segments are in Raipur district. Pamgarh and Bilaigarh constituencies are reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC) candidates.
