Jamie Skeen

Jamie Skeen (born May 2, 1988) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Belfius Mons-Hainaut of the Belgian League. Standing at 2.03 m (6 ft 8 in),[1] he plays at the power forward position.

College

He went to Wake Forest in 2006, where he was a starter on the 2007–08 Wake Forest Demon Deacons men's basketball team. He transferred to Virginia Commonwealth University during the 2009–10 season.

Skeen was a part of the Virginia Commonwealth University 2011 men's basketball team that was a cinderella team who made it all the way to the Final Four. That year, Skeen was also selected as a part of the Colonial Athletic Conference All-Tournament Team at the CAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

2006-2007: Wake Forest (NCAA): 31 games: 7.6 pts, 4.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists
2007-2008: Wake Forest (NCAA): 29 games: 5.6 pts, 4.1 rebounds.
2008-2009: Sat out - transfer year
2009-2010: VCU (NCAA): 28 games: 8.1 pts, 4.5 rebounds
2010-2011: VCU (NCAA): 39 games: 15.7 pts, 7.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists

Professional career

Skeen played for Sutor Montegranaro in the Italian League, having moved from Maccabi Ashdod B.C. and Ironi Ashkelon of the Israeli Super League and ASVEL Basket in Villeurbanne (Lyon), France during the 2011–12 season.

On October 31, 2016, Skeen was acquired by the Greensboro Swarm of the NBA Development League,[3] however, he was waived by the Swarm on November 6.[4]
