Jamarj-e Bala Persian: جامرج بالا is a Village or Town Capital Maimay District in Badakhshan Province in north-eastern Afghanistan.[1] It is located on the Panj River near the Vanj River.[2]

It lies almost exactly on the Tajikistan border where it is connected via the M41 highway.
