Iwafune Station (岩舟駅 Iwafune-eki) is a railway station on the Ryōmō Line in Tochigi, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

History

Iwafune Station was opened on 10 October 1898 as Iwafune Station (岩船駅 Iwafune-eki). It was renamed to its present kanji spelling on 1 March 1902. The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of the Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987.
