Ivan Nemet was a Swiss Grandmaster. He was born on March 14, 1943 in Sombor, Yugoslavia (now part of Vojvodina, Serbia). He became an International Master in 1978. He became a GM in 1978. He came to Switzerland in the early 1980s. He died after a heart attack, on December 16, 2007.[1]
