Irfan Khoosat

Irfan Khoosat (Urdu: عرفان کھوسٹ) is a Pakistani actor, producer and a well-known comedian.[1][2] He is famous for his comic role as Hawaldar Karamdad in the TV series Andhera Ujala in which he portrayed simpleton and blabbermouth character of a low-ranked policeman.[3] He is also known as stage comedian.[4] He also won Nigar Award for his comic role in 1985 film Hum se hai zamana.

Personal life

Irfan was born in Okara, Punjab. He is the father of a notable TV director and actor Sarmad Sultan Khoosat.

He is son of famous comedian Late Sultan Khoosat, 50s radio and film comedian artist, the late Sultan Khoosat had a great talent of performing dramas and act in different voices on radio.
