The Ireland women's national field hockey team represents Ireland in international field hockey competitions. The team is coached by Darren Smith, who took over from Gene Muller in May 2012.^[1] Ireland are currently preparing for the upcoming World League 3 Tournament taking place in June 2015 in Valencia. This is the final stage of qualification for the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
