On Friday 6th, 2015,a group of ten foreign exchange students sponsored by Rotary International went to all the classes in the Imbler school, from K to 12, to promote their origin countries and the Rotary Youth Exchange program, answering to the questions made by the local kids. On the same day, at night, a group of about 100 students from all over the state of Oregon went to the Imbler High School basketball game to cheer for the team. Half of these students were Rotary Youth Exchange students from Europe, Asia and South America who are spending their year abroad in Rotary District 5100 (Northern Oregon and Southern Washington0 while the other half of the group was constituted by American students who will leave for a foreign country during summer 2015, spending overseas their Junior year. Both the Varsity Boys and the Varsity girl games that night were won by the Imbler Panthers.
