Igloo Records

The Igloo label was initially created in Belgium to cater for improvised and electro-acoustic music, but gradually specialised in modern jazz. It has released material by most of Belgium's jazz talent, including Philip Catherine, Nathalie Loriers, Diederik Wissels, Eric Legnini, Musicazur and Charles Loos as well as younger talents such as Mélanie De Biasio and the Pascal Schumacher Quartet. The label celebrated its 30th anniversary with a concert on November 28, 2008 in Brussels.

Igloo runs a number of separate imprints. IglooMondo is home to world-based projects such as Majid Bekkas, Wendo Kolosoy and Manou Gallo. Iglectic release left-field material such as Flat Earth Society (band), X-Legged Sally and L'Ensemble Musique Nouvelles. Factice showcases Belgian French-speaking artists such as Mochélan and Tomassenko.
