Hothead Games is an independent video game developer and publisher headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Founded in 2006, Hothead has grown over its ten-year history to over 160 team members with offices on the waterfront in downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia and Vancouver, British Columbia. Hothead is a top 100 mobile game publisher worldwide.


Hothead is best known for its mobile FPS franchise, Kill Shot.

History

Headquartered in Vancouver, BC, Canada, Hothead was founded in March 2006 as a privately funded independent developer and publisher with a focus on offering accessible game play and exceptional content through digital distribution. In 2011, Hothead pivoted to focus entirely on developing and publishing mobile games.

Hothead's first game was Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode One, released for download worldwide on May 21, 2008 for Xbox 360, PS3, Windows, MacOS and Linux.

The latest game to be released by Hothead Games was KILL SHOT Bravo, which had its soft-launch release on August 9, 2015 for iOS, Google Play, and Amazon App Stores. KILL SHOT Bravo is now available worldwide.
