Hong Duc University (HDU) is a public university in Vietnam, located in Thanh Hoa city, nearby Lam Son high school and Sam Son beach. It offers bachelor's and master's degrees, mainly in teacher training, economics, technology and agriculture.
History
Hong Duc University was established by Decision No. 797/TTg issued by the Prime Minister on 24 September 1997.[1]
Campus
Main campus is currently located in Quan Nam, Dong Ve ward, Thanh Hoa city.
Students
HDU organizes the exam annually to enroll new students for every field of study in the university.
Academic Program
Hong Duc University offers both Undergraduate and Graduate degrees. It has 12 faculties, 13 functional departments, 8 belonging centers and 46 subjects.
Extracurriculars
- Miss University
Miss University is an annual event with the purpose of honoring the beauty of Vietnamese women and encouraging students to preserve and promote a model life. [2]
- Volunteer Activities
The Student Union of Hong Duc University holds many volunteer activities for students to join, such as teaching languages to orphans or helping new students with enrollment exams for residents. In addition, students can help people in poor villages during summer vacation.
