Ho Bong-Chol (born 21 August 1959) is a North Korean male former weightlifter, who competed in the flyweight class and represented North Korea at international competitions. He won the silver medal at the 1980 Summer Olympics in the 52 kg event. In the same year he won also the silver medal at the 1980 World Weightlifting Championships in the 52 kg category.[1] At both the Olympics and World championships it was the same podium with Kanybek Osmonaliyev from the Soviet Union finishing first and North Korean Han Gyong-si finishing third.
