Henri Darondeau

Henri Darondeau, full name Henry Benoît François d'Arondeau, (28 February 1779, Strasbourg – 30 July 1865, Paris aged 86) was a 19th-century French composer. When he was an organist in Bourges, he taught lessons in solfège, piano, harmony and counterpoint to the young Frédéric Barbier.

He was the father of Benoît Darondeau, hydrographer, and Stanislas Darondeau, a painter.
