Hengdong County (simplified Chinese: 衡东县; traditional Chinese: 衡東縣; pinyin: Héngdōng xiàn; literally: "Heng[yang] east") is under the administration of Hengyang, Hunan province, China. It is named after its location east of Hengyang's city proper, and borders the prefecture-level cities of Xiangtan to the north and Zhuzhou to the east.
