Hakim Ibrahimov (Azerbaijani: Hakim Elçin oğlu İbrahimov) – Azerbaijani athlete, member of the Azerbaijani national team in athletics. He took part in the 2016 Summer Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, which was guided Elmir Jabrayilov, Elchin Muradov and Elena Chebanu.

Biography

Hakim Ibrahimov was born on October 2, 1990. When he was in school, teacher of physical education saw what as it manifests itself in the classroom, and advised him to take up athletics and recommending it to his mentor Vladimir Mikhailovich. Later Ibrahimov became engaged in Javid Haspoladov.

He took part in international competitions in Georgia, dedicated to Viktor Saneev, where he took 4th place. He took part in the tournament in Trabzon, Serbia, Azerbaijan. At home in the competitions on the yakut national jumps Hakim Ibrahimov showed the best result, and then received the title of Candidate Master of Sports in the triple jump. In Yakutia same Ibragimov officially recognized master of sports on the yakut jumps.

In February 2010, Ibragimov won the triple jump competition at the international tournament in athletics, dedicated to the memory of the honored master of sports Alexander Antipov, and – the holder of the bronze medal in the long jump.

In 2012, acting at the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki, where in the 400m in a score of 47.47 seconds and made it to the semi-finals.

In January 2016 the men's 800 meters Ibragimov became champion the city of Baku, and at the international tournament in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan – winner of the 800m (1:54.86) breaking the tournament record, and the bronze medal in the relay at a distance of 400 meters.

In the same year he took part in the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro as a guide number of the Azerbaijani national team athletes. At the games he helped Elena Chebanu won the silver medal in the women's 100 meters and bronze in the women's 200 meters. In September 2016, Ibragimov ordered of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for high achievements at the 2016 Summer Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro was awarded the medal "Progress" for merits in development of Azerbaijani sport.
