Hai Au Aviation

Established in 2011, Hai Au Aviation is a member of the Thien Minh Group - a travel and hospitality group in Vietnam. Hai Au Aviation is the first and only firm in commercial seaplane service in Vietnam.[1]

Achievements

With the first commercial flight from Noi Bai International Airport to Halong bay launched on September 2014, Hai Au Aviation has been offering daily schedule flights as well as charter flight. Hai Au Aviation has served over 15,000 customers from 42 countries, and operated over 1,000 flights across Vietnam’s most beautiful landscapes.[2]

Aircraft Fleets

The Cessna Grand Caravan 208B - EX

Hai Au Aviation owns and operates three Cessna Grand Caravan 208B – EX amphibian aircrafts. Released in 2014, this aircraft model is considered the safest single engine aircraft in the world, manufactured by the Textron Group (USA), with pontoons assembled by Wipaire Company, Minnesota. The flight is low-attitude at 150 meters above sea level.[3]

The first and only commercial seaplane service in Vietnam

In 2014, Hai Au Aviation received the three Cessna Grand Caravan 208B-EX aircrafts at Cessna factory in Wichita City of Kansas. After having the floats assembled by Wipaire Inc, Minnesota, the planes then spent about 60 hours flying through California, Hawaii, Marshall, Philippines and finally to Vietnam.
