Grezilda Adelantar

Grezilda Ennis Simondo Adelantar, (also known with the nickname, Adie, born 1988), is a fashion model and beauty queen from Victorias City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. She competed in the ninth edition of the national Miss Philippines Earth beauty pageant and was crowned Miss Philippines Eco-Tourism equivalent to the first runner-up or vice miss position. She was also crowned Miss PAGCOR and Miss Philippines TQI (Tourism Queen International) 2009-2010. [1][2][3]

Miss Philippines Earth 2009

Adelantar joined the national Miss Philippines Earth 2009 beauty pageant, which was participated by 50 delegates representing various towns, cities, provinces, and overseas Filipino communities in the beauty contest that promotes environmental awareness.[4][5]

In the final competition of the Miss Philippines Earth 2009, she was announced as one of the 10 semi-finalists who moved forward to compete for the title. She achieved one of the five highest scores in the swimsuit and evening gown competitions for her stage chops, which advanced her as one of the top five finalists to participate in the final round of the event.[6]

At the conclusion of the pageant, she won and was crowned Miss Philippines Eco-Tourism qualifying her to compete at the 2010 Miss Tourism Queen International (Miss TQI) pageant in China. She was crowned by the outgoing titleholder Maria Venus Raj at the The Arena Entertainment and Recreational Center of the People, San Juan City, Philippines. Adie also competed at the 2007 Bb. Pilipinas pageant where she was unplaced.[7]
