Greg Ives (born September 13, 1979)[3] is an American NASCAR crew chief. He is currently employed at Hendrick Motorsports as the crew chief for the No. 88 Sprint Cup Series car, driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr. Ives has three victories as Earnhardt's crew chief, as well as one Xfinity Series championship with Chase Elliott in 2014. He graduated from Michigan Technological University in 2003, and was employed at Hendrick Motorsports as a mechanic in 2004.[3] In addition, he was a lead engineer of the No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports car during the team's five consecutive championships between 2006 and 2010.[4] In 2013, Ives moved to JR Motorsports as crew chief for Regan Smith.[4]
