The Governor L. G. Hardman House in Commerce, Georgia was built in 1921. It was a home of Georgia governor Lamartine Griffin Hardman (1856–1937), who governed during 1927-1931.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.[1]
It was designed by architect Leroy C. Hart in Mediterranean Revival architecture, one variety of Late 19th and 20th Century Revivals architecture.[2]
It was deemed significant architecturally as a "fine example" in Georgia of Mediterranean Revival architecture applied to a residence.[2]
The 5-acre (2.0 ha) listing included two contributing buildings.[1]
