Gintama (銀魂) is an upcoming Japanese jidaigeki action comedy film written and directed by Yūichi Fukuda, starring Shun Oguri and based on the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Hideaki Sorachi.[1][2] It is scheduled for release in Japan by Warner Bros. Pictures in 2017.[3]
