Gerty Archimede

Gerty Archimede (born April 26, 1909 in Morne-a-l'Eau, Guadeloupe, and died April 15, 1980 in Morne-a-l'Eau, Guadeloupe) was a politician from Guadeloupe who served in the French National Assembly from 1946-1951 .

Archimede was a lawyer, prominent member of the Parti Communiste Guadeloupeen (PCG), founder and president of the Union des Femmes Guadeloupeennes, conseiller general from Basse-Terre, Guadeloupe.[1]
