Geoff Norcott (born 16 December 1976) is a British comedian[1] who has been performing since 2001. He employs impressions, observation, satire and rap as part of his routine.

Career

Norcott was previously an English Literature teacher and employs this in developing his routine. He has written comedy sketches for MTV, BBC Radio 2 & 4 and in 2007 and 2008 he was a commissioned writer for Nuts TV. He was also involved with developing the football documentary Football Hurts.

On radio Norcott has appeared on Yes It's The Ashes BBC Radio 5, Jon Richardson's Show on BBC Six Music and has had frequent guest spots on Hawksby & Jacobs Show for Talksport.

In 2009, Norcott had his second sole show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Shocking Truth about Men and Women at the Pleasance.

Norcott is a supporter of the Conservative Party.[2] His 2016 Edinburgh show, Conswervative, focused on his rarity as a pro-Brexit Conservative voter on the comedy circuit.[3]
