Gediminas Hill Funicular Railway

Gediminas Hill Funicular Railway is a funicular railway in Vilnius, Lithuania. Opened in 2003, it is used by visitors to reach the Vilnius Upper Castle and Gediminas Tower.

The length of the railway is 71 metres (233 ft). The funicular reaches its destination in 31 seconds. Powered by electricity, it is capable of transporting 16 people at once.[1] It was built by ABS Transportbahnen and it is operated by Vilniaus pilių direkcija.
