Freedom and Direct Democracy (Czech: Svoboda a přímá demokracie, short SPD) is an eurosceptic,[2] and pro-direct democracy political party in the Czech Republic. The party was founded in May 2015 by Tomio Okamura and Radim Fiala after a split of a few MPs from the Dawn of Direct Democracy, now Dawn - National Coalition.

Freedom and Direct Democracy is officially named after European Parliament eurosceptic political group Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy.[5][6][7] However, the party has official links with Marine Le Pen's National Front which is a member of the other eurosceptic political group in the European Parliament Europe of Nations and Freedom.[8]
