The Athletic Football Club Fostiras founded in 1926 in the Athens suburb of Tavros. They played Alpha Ethniki between 1960 and 1963 and again between 1970 and 1974.

Trivia
Fostiras gained their "Slayer of the Giants" nickname in the 40's because of their fighting spirit against stronger opponents.
