History and profile

Forensic Magazine was established in 2004. The first issue was published in Spring 2004. It has a circulation of more than 10,000 qualified subscribers (BPA Worldwide Membership Applied For June 2008) in both print and digital.

Published four times per year, Forensic Magazine provides information on all aspects of forensic science technology, trends, equipment, services, and laboratory design. The magazine is designed for forensic professionals working in forensic laboratories and crime scene investigations. The magazine covers forensic work and science from evidence collection through processing, analysis, storage, etc. Forensic Magazine features information on new technology, its applications, and relevant information for forensic scientists, crime scene investigators, and forensic specialists.

In addition to the print publication, Forensic Magazine also offers a daily newsletter every weekday, a host of educational webinars, a digital edition, and a website with exclusive daily content.

In February 2006, the website of the magazine was launched.

In July 2009, Forensic Magazine announced that it would publish its first annual Buyer's Guide in their December/January 2010 edition.
