Federal Archives of Switzerland

Building of the Federal Archives of Switzerland.

The Federal Archives of Switzerland (German: Schweizerisches Bundesarchiv, French: Archives fédérales suisses) were created in 1798 following the creation of the Helvetic Republic. They are located in Berne and governed by the Federal Act on Archiving.[1]

In 2013 it held 60'000 linear meters of analogue and 15 Terabytes of digital artifacts.
