Farah Sheikh

Farah Sheikh is the 2013 US Senior Ladies Collegiate Figure Skating National Champion.,[1][2] She trained for ten years at Detroit Skating Club; a World and Olympic figure skating club located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Coach Julie Berlin who taught World level athletes trained Sheikh to win the gold. Farah is currently coaching at the Louisville Skating Academy as a Professional Skating Instructor.

Farah is enrolled at the University of Kentucky[3] as an honors college student and has been on the Dean's list every semester since Freshman year. A member of the Phi Delta Epsilon Kentucky Gamma medical fraternity chapter which helps her learn more about her future profession. Ms. Sheikh has presented research on "Sexuality Education and Sexual Health Disparities: A Comparison between the United States and the Netherlands" at the National Conference of Undergraduate research with mentor Dr. Kristen Mark PhD of Human Sexuality and Health Promotion.
