Euphrase Kezilahabi

Euphrase Kezilahabi (born 13 April 1944) is a Tanzanian novelist, poet, and scholar.[1] Born in Ukerewe, Tanganyika (now in Tanzania), he is currently based at the University of Botswana, where he is an Associate Professor at the Department of African Languages.[2]

He writes in Swahili, and has delivered talks on subjects such as 'Aesthetic Ambivalence in Modern Swahili' and 'The Concept of the Hero in African Fiction'.
