Epsom Coaches Group[1] is a coach operator in the United Kingdom, based in the Surrey town of Epsom. It remained a family-owned company for over ninety years.

History

The coach business was established by H.R. Richmond in 1920[2] and operates a fleet of mostly Setra coaches.

In 1986 Epsom Coaches made the move into the bus market.[2] In 2003, Epsom Coaches decided to rebrand its bus division as Quality Line and repainted its vehicles from their traditional cream and brown into allover red to comply with Transport for London requirements. On 19 April 2012 Epsom Coaches was purchased by the RATP Group.[3][4]

It operates a staff shuttle service for Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust, between Epsom Hospital, Sutton Hospital and St Helier Hospital. These are in a plain silver livery.

Since March 2012 Epsom Coaches have operated a London Victoria Coach Station to Wolverhampton service on behalf of National Express.[5]

Media

In 2014, Epsom Coaches appeared in Scottish Rock Band Twin Atlantic's music video 'Hold On'.[6]
