Bruce Springsteen was the first major artist to perform at the Staples Center; having performed his first show at the arena on the opening day (17 October 1999).
Taylor Swift has performed 16 sold out shows at the venue; the most number of appearances at the venue by a female artist.

The busiest arena in California has hosted many local, regional and international artists since its opening in 1999.[1] A list of entertainment events are given in the tables below in an chronological order.
