Electrosteel Castings Limited is an Indian water infrastructure company, based in Khardah near Kolkata.

The company manufactures ductile iron pipes (installed capacity of 200,000 tpa) – the largest in India – and ductile iron pipe fittings. It is also setting up a coal mine and a steel plant.. The company has been successful in the initiation of anti-dumping investigations concerning imports of ductile iron pipes (DI pipes) from the People's Republic of China.

Electrosteel ventured into the Steel Manufacturing industry through its promoted Company - Electrosteel Steels Limited. An Integrated Steel Plant has been set up which is capable of producing 2.5 Million metric tonnes of Hot Metal, which is further processed into Pig Iron, Billets, TMT Bars, Wire Rods and Ductile Iron Pipes.

Electrosteel Steels Limited makes products like Pig Iron, Billets, TMT Bars, Wire Rods and Ductile Iron Pipes. It consists of a Sinter Plant, Pellet Plant, Coke Oven, Blast Furnace, Basic Oxygen Furnace, Billet Caster, Wire Rod Mill, Bar Mill and Power Plant. Plant Site

The plant is located in Siyaljori Block, Bokaro District of Jharkhand State. The nearest town Bokaro, on the western side, is 22 km away from the site. The land is mostly barren with slight undulation. The source of the plant's water is the Damodar river, with the location of the in-take pump house near the bank of Damodar river, which is about 10 km away from the plant site.

The nearest railway station Talgheria, which is about 12 km away from plant site, has single line electrified traction system. The railway link for the plant is to be developed from here, with a takeoff point at Shewbabudih station.
