El Materdor is a 2008 Pixar computer animated short film directed by John Lasseter and co-directed by Rob Gibbs and Victor Navone. It is the third short in the Cars Toons: Mater's Tall Tales series. The short features characters from the Cars films and takes place after the events of Cars. It was first released on Toon Disney on October 29, 2008,[1] and was included in the home release of the Cars Toons: Mater's Tall Tales compilation.[2]
Plot
Mater tells a story to Lightning McQueen about how he used to be a matador fighting a herd of bulldozers in Spain. When Lightning McQueen arrives, the bulldozers chase him due to his red paint job.

On November 2, 2010, Mater the Greater was released on DVD and Blu-Ray as part of the Cars Toons: Mater's Tall Tales compilation disc set.[3][4]
