The Egyptian pipistrelle (Pipistrellus deserti) is a species of vesper bat. It is found in Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Sudan, and possibly also in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal, and Somalia. Its natural habitats are rocky areas, hot deserts, and urban areas. It is considered to be a junior synonym of Pipistrellus kuhlii according to Benda et al. (2015).[1]
