Rosslyn Mitchell
Edward Rosslyn Mitchell (16 May 1879 – 31 October 1965)[1] was a Liberal then Labour Party politician in Scotland.
He stood as Liberal candidate in Buteshire in December 1910. He was called 'The Pocket Rosebery'.[2] He was Labour candidate for Glasgow Central against Prime Minister Andrew Bonar Law at the 1922 and 1923 General Elections. He was elected in 1924, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Paisley, beating former Prime Minister Herbert Henry Asquith. He stood down in 1929.
