Edolo J. Giorgi

Edolo J. "E. K.," "Zeke" Giorgi (September 5, 1921 October 24, 1993) was an American politician.

Born in Rockford, Illinois, Giorgi served in the United States Army during World War II and then went to Washington and Lee University. He served on the Rockford City Council and was a Democrat. From 1965 until his death in 1993, Giorgi served in the Illinois House of Representatives. He was responsible for the law establishing the Illinois State Lottery. Giorgi died in Rockford, Illinois of a heart attack.[1][2]
