Dudley Laufman

Dudley Laufman (2009)

Dudley Laufman is a renowned contra and barn dance caller and musician. In 2009 he was made a National Heritage Fellow.[1]

Laufman attended his first dance as a boy while working at the Mistwold Farm in Fremont, NH, in 1948.

He was a founding member of the Canterbury Country Dance Orchestra and currently performs with his partner, Jacqueline, as the duo Two Fiddles. The two currently reside in their home, Wind in the Timothy, in Canterbury, New Hampshire.
