Digitalis davisiana[2][3] is a species of the genus Digitalis in the family Scrophulariaceae.[2][3]
Distribution and habitat
Native to Turkey[2] and Eastern Mediterranean.[3] Zone 8.[3]
Description
Digitalis davisiana is a rhizomatous perennial which flowers in early summer.[2][3]
- Height/width: Up to 70 cm (28 in) tall[2][3] and 30 cm (12 in) wide.[2]
- Leaves: Mid-green, finely toohed, hairless[2] or glabrous, linear [3] lance-shaped leaves to 7–12 cm (3–5 in) in length.[2][3]
- Flowers: Flowers are borne in loose racemes and are pale yellow, with orange veins. They measure 3–4 cm (1.25-1.5 in) in length.[2]
Pests and diseases
Susceptible to leaf spot and powdery mildew.[2]
