DevConf.cz (Developer Conference) is a yearly conference for all Linux and JBoss Community Developers, Admins and Linux users organized by Red Hat Czech Republic, the Fedora and JBoss Community.

DevConf.cz is held annually, usually during the second weekend of February (one week after FOSDEM), at the Brno University of Technology Faculty of Information Technology campus, situated in the north of Brno, Czech Republic.

The topics of the conference in 2015 were: Kernel, JBoss, Networking, OpenShift, OpenStack, Security, Storage, Software quality, Systems Management, Virtualization, Desktop, Containers, Databases, Hardware, Documentation and 3D Printing.[1]

Conference history

The Developer Conference started in year 2009 and followed the FUDCon, the Fedora User and Developer conference.

Financing

Entrance and participation in the event is entirely free. It is financed by variety of teams of Red Hat. The event is mainly organized and run by volunteers.
